Thoughts on Orphan Black, and why shows should always have a start and end date

This show is one of the greatest shows on television. They never had a bad season, they never had a slow season, they have always known where they are going.

John Fawcett and Graeme Manson created something epic, where the characters are all flawed, there is betrayal and distrust.
This is a show that questions the essence of being human. It is a show about science and ethics. It is a show about love, family and the bonds that go beyond blood ties.

And there is Tatiana … always Tatiana. Orphan Black relies a lot on its lead actress. She plays multiple roles simultaneously. And she does it to perfection. I don’t know what her future holds, but she will always be the best actress on TV.

The final season of this phenomenal show will air in 2017. It will be sad to see it go, but it has been perfection … I wouldn’t change it for the world. Will there be tears? Of course. Will it be missed? Absolutely. Am I upset that it’s almost over?  No. Because they had a story to tell and like every great story in life, there is a beginning and an end. And it’s OK to cry when it’s over. Not all tears are an evil.
